Your Local will be testifying at the County's FY2018 Public Hearing on Thursday, April 6, 2017 (B-Shift) @ 1300 hours. We will be first to provide testimony this year so there should not be any waiting around as in previous years. We should be done by 2pm. We will be providing lunch at 12 noon. Please wear your Class C uniform for field personnel, retired wear IAFF logo where possible. Please make every effort to attend. Thank you.

ELECTION UPDATE - Wednesday, March 29 - This morning Matt Lopez retrieved the SECOND batch of returned ballots from the Post Office. All ballots were mailed exactly two weeks ago today. Today's batch came in at 356 adding to the previous week of 419 gives us a total of 775 or 40% of the membership. You have 2 more weeks to get your ballots in.
To date 9 ballots returned due to bad addresses on file and Matt is reaching out to those members to get that resolved - those updated ballots go out...

Local 2068 Budget Testimony @ FY2017 Public Hearing
We are asking our members to join us in the audience for the Local 2068 Testimony in front of the FY2017 Public Hearing. We will be meeting in the parking lot of the Government Center beginning 11:30AM with lunch. If you can't make the social, please meet in the lobby at 1PM in Class C uniform, retirees in IAFF logo attire. Please make every effort to be present and show support for our budget testimony
