Fairfax County Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics - IAFF Local 2068 member Scott Schermerhorn is on the Board of Directors of 9/11 Promise Run (the911promise.org). The organization is a 501c3 non-profit charity that raises money for our own scholarship program. The scholarships (ranging from $5,000 to $15,000) are to be provided to the children of First Responders and/or Military members who have been permanently disabled or died in the line of duty.
