Who are the Local 2068

The International Association of Fire Fighters - Local 2068 was established in July 1971 with 25 charter members representing the active firefighters of the Fairfax County Fire Department. Since that time, we have swelled into a membership of 1,445 members consisting of active and retired firefighters, and most recently, active members of Fairfax County’s Public Safety Communication Center and two Apparatus maintenance shops. The Local 2068 Union Hall, located at 10500 Sager Avenue in the City of Fairfax, is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday. The staff at the Union Hall is Ann Freeman, Office Manager; Heather Kaufman, Bookkeeper; and Receptionist Mary Ellen Grano.
